Maddy did feel later today that the Tinkerbell costume was worth changing out of the dance clothes. She truly believes she is a princess with a never ending wardrobe. The wardrobe part may not be entirely true, but she definitely is our little princess.

Making pizza
We made pizza for dinner tonight since Brian is gone and the kids don't really care what we eat. Maddy always helps in the kitchen, but tonight they both were very helpful. They even shared the stool so they could both help. This may not seem like a big deal, but sharing anything between the two of them is a huge deal lately. The pizza by the way turned out delicious thanks to Maddy and Camden loading on the toppings.

Ready to read
I came downstairs this afternoon to find both kids reading books. Of course Maddy always claims to actually be reading. I guess she figures she either has memorized enough of the words or can describe the pictures well enough to call it reading. Camden just likes to do whatever his big sister is doing. I am so glad that they have developed a love for books! (And yes Maddy is wearing her dance outfit hours after her class has ended. She feels the need to wear it all day every Tuesday.)

Snow Angel
My kids absolutely love playing in the snow; there are few things that I hate more than snow. I am not a cold weather person and when you add snow to the cold I really hate going outside. Maddy finally talked me into letting them play in the snow. (I can only handle every so often) Maddy loves to make snow angels in the snow and is getting quite good at it. Here are a few pictures from the other day in front of our house.

Picture Perfect
My kids for some reason do not like to take their pictures. Whenever I get out the camera the usual response is to either run away or cover their face. And for a long time we had a problem with Maddy either crying because we took her binky out of her mouth or having the binky in her mouth. Well, Camden is not much better the only difference is that instead of a binky he has his thumb. Well, today for some odd reason they both actually wanted their pictures taken. I don't know maybe it was the new clothes. They sat and posed for almost 10 minutes which is incredible. So here are a few of the cute pictures we took.
Camden was really into it, making as many different facial expressions as possible and of course showing of his belly.
I guess after all the pictures he was a little tired!
Maddy wasn't as into the facial expressions as she was bodily expressions. She was posing as a "silly straw".
Arts and Crafts
It is great for the most part;
I can let them entertain themselves while I get stuff done.
Camden however can get a little messy and needs a little more supervision than Maddy.
For Example, here is Camden fingerpainting. He just started
and is still trying to figure it all out.
This is Camden after about 3 minutes.
And here he is after about 5 minutes.
And This is Maddy after about half an hour of fingerpainting. She
continued for a long time after this picture was taken too.
Potty Time!
Pretty Ballerina
Maddy is a busy girl lately. She is now in a dance class that teaches tap and ballet. She is very excited to be a ballerina. Tap, however is not her favorite. I think mostly because the shoes are black not pink. She loves to practice her dancing at home with Camden trying to follow along. In addition to dance Maddy is also taking swim lessons twice a week. She did great on Monday which was her first lesson, but yesterday they were going to dunk their heads all the way under the water and she just refused. She got out of the pool and would not get back in. We will see if she will continue with the swimming, she claims she wants to swim like little mermaid.
